Superintendent's Corner

Hello Staff and Families of CISD,

I am elated to be in Tigerland, with the best staff, students and community in the world. I am excited about the work that we will do together to ensure that our student outcomes mirror our excellence. Each day, I am excited about the endless possibilities for our district.

As your superintendent, I am committed to always keeping our students first, clarity in communication, and accountability with support. The time is now for us to show up for ourselves, our students and our community.

For the remainder of the school year, I want to emphasize the importance of student attendance, employee engagement, and community support.

Thank you for the warm welcome to Tigerland and I am proud to be a Clarksville Tiger.

Basketball Winner
  • We are excited about the academic focus at both campuses. The level of instructional engagement across grade levels reflects higher levels of student engagement during Tier I instruction using whiteboards, partner discussion, and checks for understanding to ensure mastery.
  • Congratulations to the Lady Tigers on their win against the Como Pickton Eagles!! We are the BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!
  • A great shout out to our Maintenance Staff for maintaining our facilities during the recent ice storm, our maintenance crew went above and beyond to ensure our campuses were safe, operational, and ready for students and staff. A HUGE thank you to Lonnie Rushing, Glenn Edwards, and Chuck McCleary!

Updates Schedule

Clarksville ISD Instructional Time Update

Tiger Families, thank you for your continued flexibility and support!

Due to the water issues we experienced in the fall and the recent winter weather, our district lost 5 instructional days. To ensure our students receive the full learning time they need—and to minimize the impact on families—we are putting a simple and structured make-up plan into place.

Beginning March 16, 2026:

We will add 15 minutes to the end of each school day through the last day of school.

The last day of school will NOT be an early release.

Make-Up Fridays:
• Friday, March 20, 2026
• Friday, April 3, 2026 (Designated Make-Up Day)
• Friday, May 8, 2026 (Designated Make-Up Day)

We appreciate your partnership in helping our Tigers stay on track and continue learning and growing each day. Thank you for being a vital part of the Clarksville ISD family!
