CISD TIP & TAP

  • CISD TIP TAP

“At Cheatham Elementary and Clarksville Middle High School, we are embracing growth, strengthening our systems, and rising together. Whether through our Turnaround Plan or Targeted Improvement Plan, we are committed to empowering every student, supporting every teacher, and building a brighter future for our district—one step, one strategy, and one success at a time.”

Turn Around Plan

Cheatham Elementary School

A Turnaround Plan (TAP) is a focused, strategic plan that schools create when they need to boost student performance and overall campus success. It outlines clear goals, targeted instructional strategies, and strong systems to support teachers and students.

Most importantly, a TAP is not about punishment—it’s about progress. It gives campuses an opportunity to reset, refocus, and rise by using data, strong leadership, and community support to ensure students get the quality education they deserve.

Targeted Improvement Plan

Clarksville Middle High School

A Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) is a focused roadmap schools use to strengthen instruction, close learning gaps, and boost student achievement. It identifies specific areas that need attention and outlines the strategies, supports, and timelines to improve them.

A TIP is encouraging and forward-looking—it helps campuses grow, sharpen their systems, and ensure every student receives high-quality teaching and learning. It’s a proactive step toward building a stronger, more successful school for everyone.
