Student Medications 2026-2027

Posted Date: 08/05/26 (12:28 PM)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we would like to remind you of our district medication policy.

If your child will need to take medication during the school day, all medications must be hand-delivered to the school by a parent or legal guardian. Parents may bring medications to the school on Thursday, August 6, 2026Monday, August 10, 2026, or on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

At the time the medication is delivered, a parent or legal guardian must sign the required medication consent forms before any medication can be administered.

Please note that students are no longer permitted to transport medications to and from school. If a student arrives at school with medication, the medication will not be administered until a parent or legal guardian comes to the school, signs the medication in, and completes the required consent paperwork.

To ensure there is no interruption in your child's medication schedule, please plan to deliver all medications on one of the dates listed above.

If you have any questions regarding medication procedures, please contact the school nurse at the contact information listed below.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and healthy environment for all students.

Sincerely,

Mindy Roberts, BSN, RN
