Superintendent's Corner

Hello Staff and Families of CISD,

As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our students, staff, families, Board of Trustees, and community members for your continued support and partnership.

With graduation now behind us, we celebrate a significant milestone for the Class of 2026. Graduation was a memorable occasion filled with pride, accomplishment, and excitement for the future. We congratulate our graduates and wish them success as they begin their next chapters in college, careers, military service, and beyond. We are proud of what they have accomplished and confident in the impact they will make.

This season also gives us an opportunity to reflect on the many successes experienced across our district this year. From academic growth and student achievement to extracurricular accomplishments, fine arts performances, athletic competitions, and student leadership opportunities, our students and staff have represented our district with excellence.

Thank you to the Board of Trustees for celebrating our staff at the end of the year celebration. As we conclude another school year, I want to recognize the extraordinary dedication of our teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, administrators, bus drivers, custodians, maintenance personnel, cafeteria teams, and all employees who serve our students daily.

While the school year may be ending, learning continues throughout the summer. We are excited to offer our Summer Success Academy, providing students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences focused on strengthening reading, math, science, and student engagement.

Families are encouraged to stay connected for information regarding summer learning opportunities, summer feeding services, and district updates throughout the break.

As we transition into summer, we are already preparing for the opportunities and goals that lie ahead for the 2026–2027 school year. We remain committed to continuous improvement, student success, and building a strong future together.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving your children and community. We wish everyone a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer.

Dr. Tracie Robinson, Superintendent of Schools
