Dear Clarksville ISD Community, 

I hope this message finds you well. As the newly appointed Athletic Director of Clarksville ISD, I wanted to take a moment to address the cancellation of this year's sports banquet.

Having assumed the role on March 25th, 2024, I quickly recognized the importance of celebrating our student athletes' achievements through an annual sports banquet. Unfortunately, when I reviewed the schedule, I discovered that the banquet had not been planned. In an effort to rectify this, I ambitiously aimed to organize the banquet for May 9th.

However, as I explored deeper into the logistics and with numerous other commitments demanding attention, I realized that my optimism may have exceeded the practicality of the situation. Therefore, I made the difficult decision to cancel this year's sports banquet.

I want to assure everyone in our community that our student athletes will still receive the recognition and awards they deserve for their hard-earned achievements this year. We are committed to highlighting and celebrating all of our students' accomplishments, and we will take the necessary steps to ensure this happens.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this cancellation may cause. Your unwavering support is invaluable to us as we continue to strive for excellence and improvement in our athletic programs.
