CMHS BAND IS HEADED TO STATE!!!

Clarksville Band is going to State!

The goal was set and has been met once again by Mr. Roderick Boyce and the Clarksville Tiger Marching Band. This journey began many years ago as the band is making their 5th appearance at the 2A UIL State Marching Contest in San Antonio, Texas under Mr. Boyce’s leadership. They band was named the 2A State Marching Champions in 2017 and has continued to exhibit great amounts of effort to ensure their sound and presence doesn’t go unnoticed in the State.

The band’s show, “Royalty,” was composed by Rod Boyce, and is a high energy impactful show. The band is under the field direction of Senior Drum Major, Ashley Reyna, who is in her second year as Drum Major. The band consists of 80+ students’, grades 7-12 and many hard workers and helpers behind the scenes. Mr. Boyce expects nothing but greatness and perfection. Daily you will see this in his students’ and his work ethics!

Congratulations to the 2022 Clarksville Tiger Marching Band under the direction of Mr. Roderick Boyce, assisted by Mr. Montee Ogwu (Assistant Director), Mrs. Marlette Boyce (Color Guard Coordinator), Mrs. Courtney Malone (Assistant Director), Mr. James Black (Marching & Music Technician), and Mr. Levi Keele (Marching & Music Technician).

Good luck and well wishes on your journey to the Alamodome, November 7-9, 2022.
