High expectations are a common goal at Clarksville ISD as we journey to Level 5. Whether students are learning the how/why questions of a science lesson or learning to play a musical instrument, administrators and teachers are continuously raising the bar for achievement of high expectations.
It is easy for us as adults to say that we expect ALL students to succeed. However, when actions begin to take the place of words, that statement becomes a reality. At CISD, we DO expect all students to succeed. Students are actively engaged in learning so that they will show mastery on the TAKS. Students are actively engaged in elective subjects such as agriculture, integrated computer systems and public speaking. In addition, students are actively engaged in learning the ethics and fairness of playing sports. All of these lessons are to prepare our students to become successful and productive adults. We want them to become adults who exhibit hard work, honesty and high moral character.
